Alexey Kogan, also known as DJ Pushkin was born in Kiev, Ukraine. At the age of 14, in 1989 he moved to United States with his family.

He always had a talent for music, so when his friends first took him to a club, he knew that he wanted to be a DJ, to let people enjoy and dance to his mixes.

Instead of playing at clubs, he wanted to have his own following and make parties for Russians.

His first party took place in a lounge in Brooklyn. You and I was a famous, first hang out place for Russians. He had 50 people then 100, then 200, and then started looking for a bigger place. Club Russe in Manhattan fits up to 400 people. The first half a year he had 500 and more come and enjoy his performance, every Saturday and Sunday. He spun at that club for over 2 years, while in mean time he had guest spots in clubs such as Limelight, Tunnel, Cheetah, Systems, Expo, Roxy and many more.

He was and still evolved in promotion of top singers from Moscow, who come here and perform in Taj Mahol. Madison Square Garden , Foxwood Casino and other…

He works with the biggest Russian Website in United States, where they together promote big, interesting events. He’s engaged to a wonderful girl, who is also his partner. She has a degree in Public Relations works with big promotional Companies. Soon they hope to have a house in every corner of the World, be involved with helping companies such as make a wish foundation, have a large studio and push new talents.
