Lisa spent her
youth entertaining in school productions, choir
and church. At an early age she realized where
she wanted to be.on stage. She had written, co-produced
and performed her first original works by the
age of 12. From that point on, she was on a mission
to be heard. By joining theater groups, entering
and winning talent competitions and pageants,
she did what she loved doing.
Lisa appeared regularly on the MTV television
show, "Global Groove" with MTV and WKTU
Radio Personality, DJ Skribble and appeared in
several MTV Video Music Award shows and the MTV
movie premiere celebration for "Swordfish"
in New York City's Rockefeller Center.
She recorded her first single, "Rainfalls",
with Alex and Leo Baskin, written by Artie Cabrera
and remixed by Brutal Bill Marquez and Mike Ski.
This single appears on "Xtreme Underground
Volume 2" and Mike Ski's LP, "In 2 The
Future", both on Xtreme Records.
Lisa's second release, "I'm Over You",
was written by Lisa, produced by Giuseppe D. and
released on Xtreme Records. It launched her career
in the dance industry and has enjoyed success
throughout the United States as well as in Europe
and Asia. "I'm Over You" is offered
as a CD single and also appears on the Xtreme
Records compilation CD "Xtreme Dance Party".
Fall of 2003 will bring the addition of a third
single, entitled " Walkin'" to Lisa's
growing discography. Stealth Records, has signed
the single and it will be appearing under the
artist name " Everdelicious featuring Lisa
Pure". Stealth Records is a record label
of 2002 Grammy Award Winner Roger Sanchez. Roger
won the award for the Best Remix of the Year for
his work on No Doubt's "Hella Good".
The idea for this soulful house track was spawned
from a talented female DJ from Toronto, Nicole
" Everdelicious". Production was done
by Everdelicious and Internationally known House
DJ Danny "Budda" Perez of NY. There
are a couple of other singles due for release
Fall 2003, but official announcement of details
are being held back until the details are completed.
Presently, Lisa is working with her choreographer
to prepare her for her upcoming fall tour schedule.
In addition to that, she continues to write songs
for album consideration within the Pop/Dance and
R&B genres. |
